You are probably thinking right now that-you have a business you are running, a family to tend too, and one or two side-hustles to juggle. I feel you! That is simply saying, you have all your hands on deck!
But what the heck?! Just ask yourself IF YOU:
- Are not more interested in having more clients for your business than simply running it.
- Don’t actually want more time with your family
- Won’t prefer to juggle your side hustles without the headache involved.
I hope you’re slowly seeing why you need a blog like, right now. “Blogging” might really sound cliché but it is the real deal, and has come to stay. I’ll give you 7 reasons why you and blogging are a match made in heaven (and they are incredible!), after which you should get your blog started.
PS: I would use “website” and “blog” interchangeably from now; don’t get it twisted!
1. It Will Attract Your Audience
A blog allows you to reach out to as many billions of people far and wide. When you focus on creating valuable content for your blog, it attracts a particular group of people who are interested in your content.
These people see you as an expert in your field, and when they need any related thing, they are like…”Oh! Let me quickly check my go-to website.” You become top of mind, and can eventually convert this audience into partners, friends, or paying clients.
2. A Blog Will Let You Reach Out To Your Business Clients
As a business owner, having a website is not a question of whether or not it is time-consuming. Here’s what I mean:
It is effing hard running a successful business online without a website! I know you have a Twitter, Facebook, or other social media accounts that can do you this favour; but take it from me blogs are a more personal way of keeping your customers informed about your products and services.
A website allows you to reach out to not just your old clients, it opens the door to new clients as well. These people come to your blog, see the professionalism, find helpful resources, and know that you are active, reliable, and known; all these build trust.
3.The Blog Will Get Traffic
Not only can you get traffic, but also convert these visitors to leads, to paid clients. Your blog will create an avenue to produce relevant content with your ideal clients in mind. This makes them feel like they can commit to you, and gets them more interested in your products and services. Now, your social media profiles are ready to fire! Make good use of platforms you are on by posting links to your blog content as soon as you post them.
4. You Can Make Money
Blogging came with the ability to reproduce money! It is one of the best ways to earn a lot of moolah online, and I this is not a gag! If you have quite a number of audience, you’re good to go—as there would be opportunities to monetize your blog. Having a blog can help you earn directly and passively. But while it’s possible, it’s not easy. Those people you see making a success and a living as bloggers have been honing their craft for years. Choosing the perfect niche for your blog will be a vital determinant of its profitability.
5. You Can Work From Anywhere
Whether you traveled to a place far away, or you choose to lock yourself in the hotel, or simply decide to treat yourself to a hotel reservation. Blogging gives you the freedom to work remotely. You do not necessarily need an office space to work, you could even work-from-home (maybe create your home office). It is a remote job that pays if you do it right.
6. You Meet With New People
Blogging exposes you to a large community of people. So for whatever category you choose to blog about, you will always find a community of interested and like-minded people, from fellow bloggers in your niche to your target audience. This opens up the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, have strong business contacts, and build positive relationships.
7. Blogging Allows You To Be You
Having your own website gives you total control, and allows you to simply be yourself. Hey! I am saying that you get to be your own media; it’s whatever you say, however you feel like saying it. You don’t have to follow rules before communicating valuable content. This builds your creative ability because you get to try things without restraints, you say it your own way!
I know that it is not the easiest thing to do, but you will get the result for the work you input. There are cons to having a blog, but the pros far outweigh them. Blogging can take you to your next astonishing level, and this is why you need a blog!
